Malayalam actress abduction: Female actor gives statement against P C George

Kochi: The Nedumbasserry police on Saturday recorded the statement of the female actor in the case filed against P.C. George, MLA, for his remarks against the actor in connection with her abduction and sexual assault. The circle inspector of police Nedumbassery visited the residence of the actor to record the statement.

The police team probing the abduction and sexual assault of the female actor has arrested a civil police officer on Saturday for helping Sunilkumar alias pulsar Suni, the prime accused in the case. The arrested has been identified as Aneesh of the AR Camp at Kalamasserry. According to the probe team he tried to facilitate a telephone conversation for Suni. He also tried to send a voice message of Suni to actor Dileep.
