Shalu Rahim, the actor who played Dulquer Salmaan's younger version in Kammattipadam, will be seen again in Kali (L pronounced as in Hollywood, not life, making it different from the Dulquer Salmaan film of the same spelling), a film by scriptwriter Najeem Koya, and in Anuragm, an anthology by Jayan Vannery, director of Machuka. Shalu plays a Kochi guy in Kali, with Vidhya Vijay. In Anuragam, he plays the lead in one of the segments, opposite Lijomol.
