Roshni Dinaker's sour story

The costume designer-turned-director also alleged that a negative campaign was on in social media to downrate the film.

It seems the controversy is not over for Prithviraj-Parvathy-starrer My Story, directed by debutante Roshni Dinaker. Just a few days after the release of the film, which opened to mixed reviews, Roshni called a press meet where she accused Prithviraj and Parvathy of not showing up for promotions. The costume designer-turned-director also alleged that a negative campaign was on in social media to downrate the film.

"I don't know who is doing this to me, a voice message was being circulated just ahead of the release asking people to boycott the film and this has affected the flow of people into the theatres," she says, adding, "When I called them to discuss these issues, both Parvathy and Prithviraj were not available. They didn't attend the promotional events either, which has affected the movie."

Roshni has filed placed a complaint with the Cyber cell to find out who was doing it. She also blamed the actors for putting her creative work at stake due to their stance. "Cyber bullying and negative reviews do not affect the actors much. It is affecting the one who made this '18 crore big budget movie," she says.
