Bijipal, who debuted as a music director with Lal Jose directed Arabikatha around nine years back, has now become one of the busiest composer in M’town.
The singer-composer has bagged one national award and four state awards in this period. Along with his busy schedules in the film, he used to devote time to non film assignments that include short films and music albums.
The latest news is that the composer’s popular single — Kayyoorulloru…, is getting a visual form. Through his Facebook page, it is Bijipal himself who announced the news. His Facebook post goes, “Dear Comrades, Years back I composed a song “Kayyoorulloru Samarasakhaavinu” written by Vayalar Saratchandravarma. Now we are doing a video production of the song for Bodhi Silentscape.
It is directed by Bijith Bala, DOP done by Prasanth Raveendran. We conceive this video as a loving memento to one of the greatest mass political leader Comrade V S Achuthanandan. The video is expected to be released on YouTube on May 10. Thanks all.” (sic)
