Actor Sukanya was last seen in the Priyadarshan-directed Malayalam film Aamayum Muyalum. Now, after a long hiatus, she will be making a comeback to the silver screen through the film Oru Kuprasidha Payyan, directed by Madhupal. The shooting of the film, which stars Tovino Thomas and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead, is underway in Vaikom. Sukanya is someone who has shared screen space with the superstars in Malayalam — Mohanlal and Mammootty. She later carved a niche for herself as a singer, music composer, dancer and voice actor.
