Ever since Dileep and Kavya Madhavan posed together for the cover of a popular vernacular women’s magazine, the rumourmongers have had a field day. The age old and oft repeated rumour of his marriage to Kavya Madhavan has once again been doing the rounds. But it was when his daughter’s name was put into the mix that Dileep lost his cool and wrote a very public post on his social networking page about an online site that carried a misleading headline and dragged his daughter’s name into the marriage rumours.
The gist of what he wrote is as follows, “My daughter has gone through a lot in her young life but those experiences have bestowed on her a maturity and sense beyond her years. Every time a film of mine releases there are marriage rumors that do the rounds. I am an open book in front of my fans and if I have plans at all to marry, I will be informing everyone beforehand. To all those who want to forcibly marry me off, all I want to say is that I neither have the time nor inclination to follow up on such rumours. In spite of my busy schedule, I still find time to do good for the society. Most of the media and online portals have always supported me but there are some wolve’s in sheep’s clothing. I want to sound a stern warning to all those practicing yellow journalism that I will be taking legal action against them. I have been bearing the rumors for a long time but not anymore.
