Celeb kid Gokul Suresh, who marked his M-Town entry with Vipin Das movie Mudhugauv, is readying for his next. He is to play the lead in debutant S.R. Sooraj’s comedy-thriller Njan Parethan, which is set to roll towards September end. “Gokul enacts a college-goer in the movie. It’s going to be an out-an-out entertainer. The movie will be shot primarily in Thiruvananthapuram. Locations in Madurai are also under consideration,” says Sooraj. Search for the female lead is in progress. A fresh face is likely to be roped in.
The cast comprises Saiju Kurup, Kochu Preman, Baiju and Thezni Khan. Scripting of the movie is done by Sonu Surendran. Kugan S. Palani, who wielded camera for Mudhugauv is the DOP for Njan Parethan. The film is produced under the banner of Franc Marie Productions. There are also reports that Gokul is signed for a movie to be directed by Ambika Rao.
