Fahadh Faasil files case against trap'
ALAPPUZHA: A film on Fahadh Faasil without his or his father A.M. Fazil’s knowledge! That is an impossibility, but that is what the promoters of an online advertisement campaign have been trying to do these days. They have invited the lookalikes of Fahad Fazil to enact the role of his young days in the upcoming movies. They have also offered roles to two female actors aged between 15 and 30 for playing supporting roles. Smelling a rat, Mr A.M. Fazil filed a complaint with Mr V.M. Mohammed Rafique, superintendent of police, seeking action against the false campaign. He suspected that it was a move to exploit vulnerable and aspiring actors.
Mr Fazil said that they were unaware of the project and that they had noticed it only on Tuesday. The advertisement uses the picture of Fahad Fazil, but he has no idea about the people behind it. When Mr Fazil called the number in the advertisement, there was no response. The 'true caller facility' indicated the name as Fahad. A poster of the advertisement furnished by Mr Fazil along with the complaint says that “they were looking for Fahad Fazil’s lookalike aged between 13 to 21 to play the teenage part of the upcoming movie.” There is no mention about the name of the movie or that of the director. "Acting dexterity doesn’t matter, but semblance,” it says. The willing actors have been asked to send their photos before June 20 to info@modelsindia.biz and WhatsApp 7012490177.
