One of the most prolific music composers in Mollywood, Gopi Sundar has bagged the state award for the background score of the film Take Off. A recipient of numerous awards including the national award, this award is special to him,
“This is my first State award,” he announces, adding, “Most people are under the impression that I have a cupboard stacked with State awards but the reality is that I have not received any State award till this win. I personally feel happy that the audience has already given me an award in their hearts, which is a huge thing for me!” He is over the moon with the award that has come his way but says he was not expecting one at all.” It was when my friends started calling and congratulating me that I realised that I had won. I am happy that Take Off won five awards.”
