Dulquer Salmaan's good deed
That was too unusual a post for Dulquer Salmaan’s Facebook wall on Thursday morning. There was a set of photos taken at Semmozhi Poonga park in Chennai, accompanied by a brief description, not related to movies at all. Quite accidentally he had met Dhanya Ravi, a known fighter of osteogenesis imperfect aka brittle bone disease. The young content writer was accompanied by her parents when they met.
DQ describes her this way. “Dhanya was one of those most positive and charming people I've met. She had a great wit about her, with a lovely smile and was accompanied by her two amazing parents. Meeting all of you really made my day.”
From the post, it’s clear that she had put in many words about Amrithavarshini, the NGO based in Thiruvananthapuram, that works towards the welfare of the brittle bone affected. “She is an active member of the NGO by the name Amrithavarshini and is trying to create as much awareness as possible. Do take a look. We can all do our bit for and with the NGO,” Dulquer wrote followed by its website address. The post has earned 31K likes, 1,300 shares and counting.
