An upcoming Malayalam film Kavi Uddheshichathu is under production in the hilly terrains of Kannur. The story passes through the lives of Kavalam Jiby and Vatathil Bosco who become enemies at a young age and Minnal Simon who comes in between the duo to take advantage of their enmity. Asif Ali, Biju Menon and Narain will play the main roles in the movie directed by debutants Thomas and Liju Martin.
The characters the trio plays are cunning but an interesting love story is churned out in between the events. The story also highlights the issue of gambling, that has undoubtedly ruined the harmonious life in their village. Om Shanti Oshana fame Anju Kurien will pair opposite Asif Ali. Actresses Lena and Sija Rose will also be playing prominent roles. The music is done by Vinu Thomas.
