Like how he stands out in choosing his scripts, Chiyaan Vikram took a different stand when it comes to making his fans happy. His daughter Akshitha got married to Manu Ranjith, great grandson of DMK scion M.Karunanidhi recently in Chennai. Now, the national award winner hosted a grand reception at Pudhucherry for political personalities and industrialists besides his three thousand and odd fans who have come from Tamil Nadu, Andhra and Kerala to attend the glitzy event that took place at Sangamithra Hall.
The interesting aspect that surprised many was that Vikram reportedly gave chance to all the fans to come on stage and wish the newly married couple. A light music by popular singers like Srinivas, Unnikrishnan and others was arranged with highlight being Chiyaan crooning the chartbuster number O Butterfly Butterfly from Meera, one of the films directed by P.C. Sreeram, which he did at the start of his career.
