Jeeva to star in the Tamil remake of Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil

The recently released Malayalam movie Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil will have a remake in Tamil. Reports say Jeeva will play the lead role. Tinu Pappachan's directorial debut has been accepted and commercially successful since its release last week. If everything works out well, Tinu himself will direct the Tamil version of the movie. The Malayalam film, starring Antony Varghese, Chemban Vinod and Vinayakan, tells the story of a prison break. Tinu's filmmaking has received praises from all quarters.
