Launching actor-producer Maniyan Pillai Raju’s son Niranj as a hero, director Shebi comes up with his next coming-of-age movie I’m 21. The director, who has earlier directed Plus 2 with Drishyam-fame Roshan in the lead, this time also scripts his latest. “In I’m 21, Niranj’s character falls in love with an older woman played by Miya George. He gets kicked out of the seminary where he was being trained to become a priest,” says Shebi, who has also directed the thriller Tourist Home and Tamil movie Moondru Rasigargal. Niranj had earlier acted in the movie Black Butterflies directed by Rejaputra Ranjith
