After Aami, the biopic of author Kamala Das, filmmaker Kamal is all set to release his next, Pranaya Meenukalude Kadal starring State Award winner Vinayakan in the lead role. The official trailer of the movie has been released to a welcoming response by the fans. Pranaya Meenukalude Kadal also marks the comeback of ace scenarist John Paul after a decade-long sabbatical. Vellathooval released in 2009 was the last screenplay that he had written before taking a break.
Produced by Johny Vattakuzhi and Deepak John under the banner of Danny Productions, the movie also has a bunch of newcomers. Actors Dileesh Pothan, Gabri Jose and Ridhi Kumar will also be seen in pivotal roles. The movie has created interest among film lovers ever since the release of its first-look poster, which featured Vinayakan walking out of the sea carrying a fish on his shoulder. The actor, known for his unconventional characters, seems to be taking a bar higher with the movie.
