Joju George is in the best phase of his career
It seems to be the best phase in the career of Joju George, who after decades of struggle has finally earned a prime spot in Malayalam film industry. After his State Award-winning performance in M. Padmakumar’s Joseph and Sanal Kumar Sasidharan’s Chola, Joju’s stellar show in June and Virus was much appreciated. The actor will next be seen in Thomas Benjamin’s social drama Oru Rathri Oru Pakal.
In the film that discusses the lives of parents who are shunned by their kids as they turn old, Joju will be part of an ensemble cast comprising Lena, Shanthi Krishna, Nadiya Moidu, Anarkali Marikar, Indrans, Nedumudi Venu, Renji Panicker, Siddique and KPAC Lalitha among others. Produced by Samson Viswanathan and penned by the director himself, Oru Rathri Oru Pakal has on board cinematographer K.P. Nambiathiri, lyricist K. Jayakumar, music composer Ouseppachan, editor Sobin K. Soman and costume designer Arathy Nair. The big-budget film will be shot in Dubai, Canada and Kerala.
