Ace cinematographer Madhu Ambat's 250th movie Pani's filming is over. Santhosh Mundoor will make his directorial debut with this emotional drama that talks about a Malayali family moving to Tamil Nadu and the problems they face there. M.R. Gopakumar and Rosilin will play the lead roles. For Touchwood Creations, Sauda Sheriff and Ameer Sheriff will produce the film. Madhu Ambat's last film, Pathemari had won National Award for The Best Malayalam Film category.
The rest of the cast include Niashath Sagar, Anjali, Aimy, Vasan, Ranju Achyuthan Changoor, Aravindan Alavil and Rajmithran.
