The shooting of Nivin Pauly’s next, Padavettu, has begun. Directed by debutante Liju Krishna, the movie is produced by actor Sunny Wayne under the banner of Sunny Wayne Productions. Padavettu is Sunny’s maiden attempt as a producer.
The cast and crew were present at the switch-on function that took place in Kannur. Aruvi-fame Aditi Balan has been cast as the female lead of the movie that will also have Shine Tom Chacko and Shammi Thilakan appearing in pivotal roles. Liju, who has also written the script of Padavettu, previously directed an award-winning play called Moment Just before Death, also produced by Sunny Wayne. Govind Vasantha will compose music for Padavettu whereas Renganaath Ravee (Jallikattu fame) has been roped in for sound designing.
Deepak D. Menon is handling cinematography. Nivin Pauly, who was last seen in Geetu Mohandas directorial Moothon, has been gaining wide acclamation for his role in the movie. Sunny, on the other hand, is shooting for Kurup that has Dulquer Salmaan in the lead.
