It is the curious case of three individuals named Shaji which will be translated on the marquee through director Dileep’s film titled Mera Naam Shaji. The film deals with the lives of three Shajis one of whom is a quotation gunda. The other is a driver from Kozhikode and the third Shaji is a tourist guide. All these three Shajis meet in Kochi and the events that subsequently unfold move through a humour track but with a thriller thread woven in.
The main leads are played by Joju George, Hareesh Kanaran, Sudeer Karamana, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese and Noby. Tamil actor JP who was recently seen in the film Oozham will also be a part of the film. Incidentally Dileep has also written the script for this film. The shoot is scheduled to kick off by the middle of this month in locations of Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.
