Director Lal’s dream comes true

Actor-director Lal, who is busy juggling movie sets in different languages, seems extremely excited for one of his upcoming movies. The Saaho actor penned a note regarding the same on social media and expressed his happiness. Lal wrote, “In my career as an actor I have asked for a chance to one and only one person, Mani Ratnam. It was my friendship with Suhasini, the ace director's wife that persuaded me to ask him for a role. Later when he approached me to do a part in Kadal I couldn't make it due to prior commitments. However, I think the right time has arrived and I have finally got a chance to appear in his next movie that will be made in two parts. I will appear as an aged warrior for the movie that also has actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha and Aiswarya Rai. I have also started learning horse riding for my character. Once a dream, now a reality!”

in Mollywood, the actor was last seen in recently released movie Helen and will also be appearing in a pivotal role in Kiran Prabhakaran directorial Thakkol.
