Songs from the movies Queen and the soon-to-be released Mohanlal, which graciously talk about the love for Malayalam actor Mohanlal, went viral on social media and video sharing websites. And there is one more Lalettan song in store for the fans. The recently released promotional song of the upcoming short film Mangalassery Neelakandan, directed by Sangeeth, has received the same reception from all over. Social media was flooded with appreciation about the song video. The song is also trending on YouTube, garnering more than 154,476 views and thousands of likes in just 4 days.
“Since the release of the promo song video, we are getting phone calls appreciating the venture. This short film talks about a father and son who are ardent supporters of Mohanlal,” says Josh Jo, the lead actor who did the title role in the short film. The short film also features Aldrin Thamban and Vrindha Vijayan in lead roles. The song Aaraane with fast-pumping beats has already become the talk of the town, thanks to Joel Johns who did the music for the lyrics written by Titto P. Thankachen.
“The 20-minute short film is expected to be officially released by a ‘superstar’ next week,” says Josh, who is a theatre artiste and journalist.
