The first look of Lal Jose directorial Nalpathiyonnu starring Biju Menon and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead had given hints of an interesting movie. The teaser of the film, unveiled on Tuesday, gives glimpses of wonderful onscreen performances by the likes of Nimisha Sajayan, Biju Menon and Indrans. This will be Nimisha’s first project after winning the Kerala State Award for Best Actor. The film also has Saranjith and Dhanya Ananya playing important roles. The teaser promises that Nalpathiyonnu would be yet another masterpiece from the popular director. It would be his 25th independent project. From what the teaser suggests, Biju Menon essays the role of the follower of a major political party. As far as the music department is concerned, Bijibal has composed the songs written by Rafeeque Ahammed.
Biju Menon was last seen in Sathyam Paranja Viswasikkuvo, a family drama directed by G. Prajith and written by Sajeev Pazhoor. The film starred Biju and Samvrutha Sunil, along with Alencier Ley Lopez, Sudhi Koppa, Dinesh Prabhakar, and Mangal who were seen in supporting roles. Lal Jose’s last film was Thattumpurath Achuthan, which starred Kunchacko Boban in the lead role.
