Velakkaari Aayirundalum Neeyen Mohavalli — no Malayalam film buff can easily forget this outstanding dialogue from the comedy scene in the movie Mele Parambil Aanveedu, in which Jagathy Sreekumar’s character learning Tamil to propose Sobhana. Now the same dialogue has become the title for a film. The film to be helmed by Telugu director Govind Varaha has Rahul Madhav in the lead role.
According to sources close to the project, the film will start rolling from August 12 at Thiruvananthapuram. Tony Aalex Valluvassery, Dileep Ponnani and Prashanth Alexander also appear in prominent roles. “This is an out and out fun film, which goes through the life of four youngsters. The heroine is yet to be finalised.”
