This is something Lalettan fans have been looking forward to for a long time. The complete actor is coming to the mini screen. News has been doing rounds that Mohanlal is handling the roles of a guest and host for a show to be aired by a private channel in the Malayalam month of Chingam.

A report says the weekly show titled Lal Salam is designed as a journey through his oeuvre. There would be 100 episodes altogether, each to touch upon the milestones in his career spanning over three-and-a-half decades. It will start with his memories of Manjil Virijna Pookkal, his acting debut in 1980. Another host on the show is actor, RJ Meera Nandan. People who played a pivotal role in all his movies, both on and off camera, are expected to come down for the programme, as per the report.

Velipadinte Pusthakam, directed by Lal Jose, is Mohanlal’s next. Along with being an active presence on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter, Mohanlal also has a well-updated blog — thecompleteactor.com.
