Ma Chu Ka, a bilingual psychological thriller that features only two actors and a dog, will hit the screens on June 9. Veteran Tamil actor Pasupathy, usually seen in negative shades, will play the male lead, and Janani Iyer, the female lead. The other characters in the movie will be referred to, but would not appear on screen.
In his fifth Malayalam film, Pasupathy will portray Advocate Arivazhakan, a public prosecutor from Tamil Nadu, and Janani will be seen as a journalist. "A third character is expected to come on screen any minute and the twist comes with that particular thread," says director Jayan Vannery who marks his debut as a director with Ma Chu Ka.
