One of the most discussed topics of M-town in recent times was the marriage of actor Dhyan Sreenivasan. For around a year, news of Dhyan’s marriage has been doing the rounds on online portals. As per those reports, Dhyan was in a relationship with actress Namitha Pramod, his co-star in John Varghese’s Adi Kapyare Koottamani. Buzz was that the actors were all set to tie the knot in February.
Now, a source close to the actor denies such rumours. “Those are baseless. However, it is true that Dhyan is getting married soon, but the bride is Arpitha, a girl from Thiruvananthapuram. The marriage is expected to take place in April.”
It was in 2012 that Dhyan, son of actor-writer-director Sreenivasan, came to M-town as an assistant to his director uncle M. Mohanan in the film 916. Later, he shifted gears to acting with his elder brother Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Thira. Though the film garnered good reviews, he had not rushed into things and waited for close to two years to don the greasepaint again with Basil Joseph’s Kunjiramayanam, in which he shared screen space with his brother. Sajith Jagadnandan’s thriller Ore Mukham is his latest to have hit the screens. In the meantime, the actor himself has revealed that he is gearing up to make his directorial debut soon.
