Director Siddique’s third film with Mohanlal, Big Brother, has been making a lot of buzz since the announcement. Earlier in October, when Mohanlal shared the film’s first look on his social media account, his fans are awestruck seeing his get-up and have been expecting the teaser. Now, the makers have released a motion teaser, which is enough to raise some eye brows. The film is tipped to be a thriller and the motion teaser is somewhat gives that impression. The actor is seen holding a pistol with the caption, ‘He is on board’.

Mohanlal’s follow-up to Ittymaani: Made in China, the film also features Anoop Menon, June-fame Sarjano Khalid, and Arbaaz Khan. Anoop and Sarjano have been cast as the titular character’s brothers.  

 

Vishnu Unnikrishnan, Janardhan and Tini Tom are also part of the cast, playing Mohanlal’s friends. The makers have informed that Big Brother is a family entertainer which will have action, romance, comedy, and drama. Jithu Damodar is on the camera and Deepak Dev will compose music. The film is bankrolled jointly by S Talkies, Shaman International and Vysakha Films.

Lal was last seen in Ittymaani: Made in China, a comedy-drama film written and directed by Jibi Joju in their directorial debut. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the company Aashirvad Cinemas, the film had Honey Rose, Raadhika, Siddique, Aju Varghese, K. P. A. C. Lalitha, Salim Kumar, Hareesh Kanaran, and Dharmajan Bolgatty in supporting roles
