Mahesh Babu Served Notice After Doctor Alleges Real Estate Fraud

Superstar Mahesh Babu, named as the third respondent, is accused of promoting the firm, which misled buyers.

The Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission in Telangana has issued notices to Telugu actor Mahesh Babu regarding his endorsement of a real estate firm.

A Hyderabad-based doctor filed a complaint alleging she was defrauded after paying Rs 34.8 lakh for plots that did not exist.

Superstar Mahesh Babu, named as the third respondent, is accused of promoting the firm, which misled buyers.

This follows earlier notices from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in April 2025, summoning him for questioning in a money laundering case linked to real estate firms Sai Surya Developers and Surana Group, where he reportedly received Rs 5.9 crore as endorsement fee.
