RRR Roars At Royal Albert Hall, NTR Reflects On Naatu Naatu

The global phenomenon RRR continues its victorious march—this time to the heart of London.

In a landmark moment for Indian cinema, RRR lit up London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on Sunday with a special screening accompanied by a live orchestral performance of its award-winning score. The celebrated Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, led by conductor Ben Pope, brought MM Keeravani’s powerful music to life, creating a breathtaking fusion of cinema and symphony.

The event saw an electrifying turnout, with fans filling the historic venue to witness the magic of RRR on the big screen, enhanced by live music. Director SS Rajamouli, composer MM Keeravani, and lead stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR were present, making the evening even more special. Photos and clips from the event, shared across the film's official social media platforms, captured the vibrant energy and thunderous applause that echoed through the hall.

Keeravani, whose composition Naatu Naatu won both the Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Original Song, performed the score live—infusing a fresh emotional depth into the film’s already iconic moments.

Adding to the night’s charm, Jr NTR shared heartfelt thoughts about the journey of Naatu Naatu. “The day the song won the Oscar, all the pain and effort our director put us through melted away instantly,” he said. “But I’ll always remember Naatu Naatu not for the awards or the hard work—but because I got to share the screen with my amazing friend, Ram Charan. He’s an incredible dancer.”

Fans erupted with joy as NTR went on to pay tribute to their dance legacies: “His father, Chiranjeevi garu, was one of the greatest dancers. My uncle, Balakrishna garu, was a fantastic dancer too. Naatu Naatu would become an even more unforgettable memory if both of them danced to it—two legends together.”

Ahead of the show, the team had built anticipation with a message:

“LONDON...here we come! Relive the soul of #RRRMovie like never before with a scintillating live orchestral performance by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Join our trio @ssrajamouli @tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan at @RoyalAlbertHall London on Sunday, May 11th for a musical celebration of India's epic action drama.”
