Tamil Nadu has a long history of actors entering politics. Many stars like MGR and Vijay have taken this path. Now rumors are swirling around Kollywood star Dhanush.
His father Kasthuri Raja today spoke about this at a private event in Chennai. Reporters asked him if Dhanush would enter politics. The veteran director did not rule out the possibility. He said that anyone has the right to enter politics if they wish. He added that his sons or even his grandsons might choose that path in the future.
Dhanush was most recently seen in Kara. The film didn't perform well at the box office. A heist thriller, it features Mamitha Baiju as the hero's wife.
