Superstar Rajinikanth has completed the shoot for his upcoming movie Jailer 2, making it one of the most awaited films of the year. The makers announced that Jailer 2 will release on October 15 during the Diwali festive season.

According to social media updates, the untrimmed cut of the movie is already locked, and post-production work is currently in progress. The team is now waiting for music director Anirudh to begin the background score. The film is expected to hit theaters on its promised release date.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 is the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster Jailer. The film boasts a stellar cast. Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Mirnaa, Vinayakan, and Yogi Babu will reprise their roles from the previous film, alongside new additions such as Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jatin Sarna, and Mithun Chakraborty.
