Karthik Subbaraj Feels Game Changer Changed From His Original Story

The filmmaker revealed that while he wrote the original story, the film turned out quite different from what he had initially imagined.

Director Karthik Subbaraj has stirred up a fresh discussion among movie lovers with his comments on Ram Charan’s Game Changer. The filmmaker revealed that while he wrote the original story, the film turned out quite different from what he had initially imagined.

Speaking in an interview, Karthik said that director Shankar had approached him to write the screenplay as well. However, he could not take up the offer as he was busy working on Mahan at the time.

Karthik also mentioned that his original story had similarities to the Hindi film Newton. Interestingly, after watching Game Changer, he felt that several things had changed from the version he had written.

He suggested that having a big star like Ram Charan on board could have influenced the way the story was developed. His comments have now left fans wondering how the film might have turned out if his original vision had been followed more closely.

Many movie buffs feel that Karthik himself should have directed Game Changer. Known for his distinctive storytelling style, he has earned a reputation for bringing a different perspective to his films. Fans believe his direction might have given the political drama a more engaging treatment.

Of course, it is difficult to say whether Karthik’s version would have worked better with audiences. Nevertheless, his comments have brought the spotlight back on Game Changer and raised questions about how the original story evolved into the film that eventually reached theatres.
