Top south star Chiyaan Vikram’s daughter Akshita’s wedding with Manu Ranjith was solemnised in front of the groom’s great grandfather and former Chief Minister M Karunanudhi at his famous Gopalapuram residence on Monday morning. Manu is the son of Ranganathan, chairman of Chennai’s CK’s Bakery chain and CavinKare group of companies.
The wedding took place at the residence of the 94- year-old politician with only close family members like MP Kanimozhi, MK’s son Alagiri, his son Dhayanidhi Alagiri, Dayanidhi Maran and lyricist Vairamuthu attending the event besides Vikram’s close family members.
A grand reception is to take place today (October 31) at Mayor Ramanathan Hall where a host of film and political personalities are expected to attend.
