Popular Telugu actress Yamini Bhaskar of Keechaka and Rabhasa fame has been roped in for a Tamil film titled Munnodi. Directed by Kumar, the movie has Harish as the lead hero. Apart from them, two actors — Arjuna who debuted with Kangaroo and Pavel Navaneethan of Kuttram Kadithal turn villains with Munnodi.
Speaking about the film Kumar says, “A boy who yearns for motherly affection is dragged into an anti-social gang due to circumstances. Later, he becomes a police informer. But when his past catches up with him, he lands up in police custody.
The rest is how he escapes from his predicament.” Sithara plays Harish’s mother. The film reinstates the fact that the choice of your mentor determines your future course of life, he adds. Yamini has an equally important role. The film will be simultaneously released in Telugu as Role Model.
