Like we wrote earlier, Superstar Rajinikanth took a short trip to the US for a routine health checkup. He is now back in town and seems to be in a cheerful mood.
The actor has a reason to rejoice, for his milestone flick Kabali, which created several new records, touched its 100-day mark recently. Fans of the Superstar celebrated the special day at various screens and since it coincided with Deepavali, the festivities were even bigger. An elated Rajinikanth met his fans, who had gathered in large numbers in front of his Poes Garden residence and interacted with them for 10 minutes. Safe to say that he made their day.

Later, he was spotted sporting his usual white dhoti and shirt for Deepavali celebrations and spending quality time with family — wife Latha, daughters Aishwaryaa with hubby Dhanush, Soundarya with son Ved and other grandkids celebrating at home. The picture where they were seen lighting sparklers, was leaked and went viral online.
Meanwhile, Kamal, who is recuperating from his injury, was seen ringing in this festival with his elder daughter Shruti Haasan who was decked up in a white sequined saree with jasmine flowers adorning her updo.
