Mrinalini Ravi, whose quirky dubsmash videos made her quite popular, will be a part of producer CV Kumar's next venture. The film titled Jango is a sci-fi thriller to be directed by debutant Mano Karthikeyan, a former assistant of Arivazhagan and Ram Kumar. It will have Mrinalini and newcomer Satish playing the lead pair.
Mano is said to have chosen Mrinalini after being impressed by her dubsmash videos. According to an insider, the actress has a bold role with a lot of bearing on the script. Karunakaran, Ramdoss, RJ Ramesh, and Harish Peradi play the supporting cast, and Nivas Prasanna is composing the music. Meanwhile, Mrinalini is awaiting the release of her debut movie, Champion, with Suseendhran.
