Actor and filmmaker Sasikumar, who had resolved to come out of his rural hero image, has signed yet another film with M’town filmmaker Jiyen Krishnakumar who debuts in Tamil. Sasi essays a suspended cop in an investigative thriller. As usual, after scouting for a heroine, the makers have brought another Malayalam girl Manasa Radhakrishnan on board to play Sasi’s pair.
Talking about the film, Krishnakumar, who has given blockbusters like College Days and Tiyaan says, “It’s a fast paced movie and one cannot predict it proceeding. Screenplay is written in such a way that it would draw the audiences into the screens.”
National award winners Guru Somasundaram and Appu Kutty are also roped in for crucial roles. Vidya Pradeep, who gave an impressive feat in Thadam, will be seen in a key character. While Ronnie Raphael has been roped in as the composer, ace Gopinath is behind the camera. Popular stunt choreographer duo Anbariv is in charge of action blocks. Hitesh Jabak bankrolls the untitled movie and this is his 14th production venture.
