The popularity of Youtube stars is soaring each day and they are in demand from filmmakers now. The horror comedy Odavum Mudiyadhu Oliyavum Mudhiyadhu is one such whose actors became a hit through their individual Youtube channels. Ramesh Venkat of Eruma Saani fame directs the movie and actor Sathyamoorthy produces it, besides playing one of the leads. It is interesting to note that the best Youtube entertainers like actors Gopi, Sudhakar, Vijay Harija, Sha Ra, Agustin from Eruma Saani, Madras Central’, Put Chutney and Temple Monkeys are coming together.
These series are known for their pun and satire. “OMOM will be no different. It will have satirical punches and I am confident they will be lapped up by audiences,” the director says. The movie has been completed in 45 days and we are planning to hit the marquee this summer, says Sathyamoorthy.
