Jai, Aishwarya Rajesh team up for Aramm director's next

The film will address an important issue in our society and will be shot extensively in and around North Madras.

Aishwarya Rajesh was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s Chekka Chivanth Vaanam in the small yet significant role of a Sri Lankan Tamil girl. Gopi Nainar who debuted with a sensational film Aramm with Nayan last year has roped in the versatile actress for his upcoming flick. She is paired opposite Jai, who plays the lead protagonist in the film.

Sources say that the movie set against the backdrop of soccer in North Madras, is about oppressed people who are denied recognition for their talents due to their identity.

The film will address an important issue in our society and will be shot extensively in and around North Madras. While Jai has films like Jarugandi, Party and Neeya 2 in his kitty, Aishwarya is awaiting the release of Vada Chennai, where she collaborates with Dhanush and Dhruva Natchathiram in Gautham’s direction.
