Whose film is it anyway?
The latest buzz in K’town is that Atharvaa is upset as his upcoming flick Imaikka Nodigal has now been termed as a Nayanthara movie, even though she’s just one of the many pivotal characters in it.
Sources inform us that it was Atharvaa who had called director Ajay Gnanamuthu asking him to narrate a script that he had in store — after the actor was impressed with the latter’s debut Demonte Colony.
When things were finalised, the makers reportedly spoke to many actors, including Prabhu Deva, for the role of an investigating officer. Finally, they brought Nayanthara on board. Also, the director clarified that she will not be seen opposite Atharvaa and sources added that Rashi Khanna has been roped in opposite Atharvaa.
Insiders reveal that the Iru Mugan actress was trained in stunts, since her character involves few fight sequences. It seems that her portion in the film has also been made more prominent. The film is expected to go on floors in October.
We hope that the Kanithan actor makes his peace with how things are going on soon!
