VIP 2, despite having a big buzz and the star cast working in it’s favour is now facing the problem of release. After the release was pushed from the initial release date of July 28, the makers are finding it hard to find a date in August, given that there are many biggies releasing that month.
VIP-2 is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual but is being marketed heavily in the Hindi market as well, as Kajol plays the antagonist. Hence, the makers are struggling to find a date that wil suit all three languages. While many are speculating that the film might in fact release along with Vivegam, expected on the 10th of August, sources say that this will not be the case, as three big Telugu films are set for release that weekend and hence VIP 2 will not get enough screens.
Now, sources say that the makers are trying hard for an August 4 release. With no significant releases in Tamil and Telugu, the film will be face Jab Harry Met Sejal, and it will be an interesting SRK-Kajol clash.
