Exclusive: Confirmed! Prabhudheva to direct Prabhas after Saaho

Prabhudheva and Prabhas share more than just the P in their names, and the Q that line up for their films! They share a close bond of friendship for several years now.

Now, Prabhudheva is all set to finally direct his friend, as soon as Prabhas’ current project Saaho is completed, in his film. Says Prabhu warmly, “Prabhas is a dear friend. I’ve known him from the time he set foot in Tamil-Telugu cinema. In fact, he sportingly did a cameo appearance in my Hindi film, Action Jackson. I’d love to direct him. But, it’s definitely not just because Baahubali has happened.”

Awkward to dip his hand into the ‘Baahubali lake’, Prabhu wanted to wait until Prabhas was free. “There’s no point in doing a film together just because it makes business. I have been thinking of a film with Prabhas for a while now. Right now, he’s busy with his next Telugu film Saaho, post which we will do our film together,” reveals Prabhu.

Praising the Saaho director, he asserts, “Sujeeth is just a boy. Yet, his first film, Run Raja Run, was so much fun. There are a lot of good young directors emerging from the South of late.”
