Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan, the first Malayalam film to collect more than Rs 100 crore and create a Guinness World record will soon be released in Tamil in 3D.
Talking about his experiences shooting with tigers, director Vysakh said, “We have used only five percent CG for the tiger scenes in the film. The rest are real tigers, which we shot at reserves in Bangkok. To achieve perfection even with CG-generated tigers was a tough proposition — imagine shooting with real tigers then! To get them in the mood to shoot was a task and we never knew when they would get fierce. Though, there were threatening moments, when we saw the output, it was great.”
While Kamalinee Mukherji plays Mohanlal’s wife, Lal, Kishore, Jagapati Babu and Namitha form the supporting cast. We hear Mohanlal has also dubbed himself for the Tamil version. The Tamil dialogues have been penned by Bala.
