Vijay Sethupathi turns villain once again for Tolly film
Vijay Sethupathi had hinted out that he would soon sign another project in Telugu after Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which is his maiden action venture in Tollywood. Without revealing many details, he had also said that he was impressed with the script and his role, which has negative shades.
The makers of the Telugu film have made it official now. After turning a baddie opposite Rajinikanth in Petta, Sethu has signed a Tolly movie directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the writer of hit movie Rangasthalam, where he will be seen as a villain. Chiranjeevi’s nephew Vaishnav Tej debuts as the lead hero in the film, said to be a rustic seaside story.
‘Makkal Selvan’ is clear about his priorities while working in other language flicks “In Sye Raa, I play a Tamil speaking guy and hence I didn’t have any issues with the language. Of course, I am particular that my other language films should not get dubbed into Tamil, which will in a way mess up my career and business in K’town,” he had said.
