Every piece of news about the film ‘24’ seems to create a buzz among movie buffs! Now that it has been cleared by the Censor Board with a clean ‘U’ certificate, the Tamil and Telugu versions of the film will release on a record 267 screens in the US on May 5.
Going by this, ‘24’ will be the biggest release ever for Suriya in the US. Starring Samantha and Nithya Menen in pivotal roles, the film said to be one of Suriya’s most ambitious projects, and is said to be based on the fictional concept of time-travel. In the film, Suriya plays a triple role. ‘24’ , which has music by AR Rahman, is jointly produced by Suriya’s home banner 2D Entertainment and Studio Green.
In India, the film releases on May 6. CineGalaxy Inc. is distributing the film, which is directed byVikram Kumar of Manam fame.
