Interestingly, Going a step further, the actor will sport a dual role of a father and son in his upcoming flick Asuran, as revealed by its director Vetri Maaran who teams up with the national award winner for the fourth time. M’town powerhouse performer Manju Warrier will be seen opposite Dhanush when he plays a 45-year-old dad. The look of the actor in the dad’s role is going viral.
The story is based on a novel titled Vekkai, written by Poomani. Dhanush is playing the role of a 45-year-old villager in the film.
Reportedly, Pasupathi is playing an important role in the movie. He will be seen as the brother of Manju Warrier. Director Balaji Shaktivel who makes his onscreen debut as an actor is said to be the antagonist.
The movie, produced by Thanu’s V Creations, has musical score by GV Prakash marking the reunion of GVP and Dhanush after 8 long years.
