Actor/filmmaker Seeman took a sabbatical from films after he started his political party Naam Tamizhar Katchi. Recently, we reported that he is back to donning grease paint with a film Thavam.
Now, at a recent interview, the filmmaker turned politician has revealed that he would be directing Simbu in a film, which will have a contemporary issue as the core theme. Also, sources say that STR will portray a doctor for the first time. Anirudh might be roped in for music, the source adds.
Presently, Simbu is in he wrapping up of his film Vandha Raajavaathaan Varuven with Sundar C. He has also signed a political thriller with Venkat Prabhu titled Maanaadu, where he is said to be playing a martial art expert. The actor will soon be flying to Bangkok for a special training session in martial arts. AS
