Ace director Selvah who has been in the industry for more than a decade, has returned to Kollywood after a gap of four years. For his comeback of sorts, the director has managed to rope in the happening actor Arvind Swami. He has signed on Ritika Singh of Irudhi Suttru fame as Swami’s pair.
Speaking to DC, Selvah says, “I can’t divulge much right except for the fact that Arvind Swami will essay the role of a stylish cop and Rithika will be his pair.”
The first time pairing of Arvind and Ritika is definitely going to be a surprise element for the audience. The film’s pre-production is currently going on at a swift pace.
After essaying the role of Siddharth Abhimanyu, a menacing villain in Thani Oruvan, the actor will now play a contrasting role of a straight-forward police officer. It is said that the Bogan actor is excited to be part of this film, as this will see him explore yet another facet.
Selvah’s untitled film will be bankrolled by MR Ganesh of Magic Box Films, who had earlier produced the critically acclaimed Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum starring Vijay Sethupathi and Aishwarya Rajesh.
