A mass' song for Raghava Lawrence and students

The actor recently announced on Facebook that he will be featured in the introduction song of the film along.

Though actor-choreographer-director Raghava Lawrence is yet to have a release in 2016, he is part of a couple of exciting projects that will hit the theatres next year. Currently, the Kanchana actor is shooting for P Vasu’s Shivalinga, a Tamil remake of the Kannada film with the same name.

The actor recently announced on Facebook that he will be featured in the introduction song of the film along with several talented and physically-challenged students from his trust.

Speaking to DC about the song, Lawrence says, “I am extremely happy that I got another opportunity to dance with my students. The introduction number will be a mass song composed by S Thaman. I want to showcase their talents whenever I get the chance. Hopefully, after seeing their performance in the film, they will get more opportunities to do stage shows in the city as well as in foreign countries.”

In Kanchana, several of his physically-challenged students were featured in the Nillu Nillu song, with inspiring lyrics to boost confidence in one’s life. “I didn’t want to feature them in a similar song, that is why I chose this film after a gap of two years,” he reveals.

Shivalinga is nearly complete with just one song pending, which the actor claims will be shot in two weeks’ time.
