Dhanush’s latest release Asuran in combination with his favourite filmmaker Vetri Maaran turned out to be a huge hit and caught the attention of many for its making as well as the actor’s arresting performance.
The maker Kalaipuli S Thanu officially announced that Asuran will be remade in Tollywood with Venkatesh in the lead and his banner and Suresh Productions will bankroll the movie.
Now, the big buzz is that Shah Rukh Khan has evinced interest to act in a Bollywood remake after watching the film recently and being impressed by its content.
Earlier, SRK’s close friend Karan Johar had also watched Asuran, which is based on the novel Vekkai, penned by Poomani and he appreciated Vetri and Dhanush. M’town actress Manju Warrier also made a solid entry into Tamil essaying Dhanush’s pair.
